I need to know how to use TMPEnc to get better VCD's from Dazzle DVC. I read the article in the website and tryed to follow the steps using TMPEnc and the filters, but got the same ol results. I may not be using TMPEnc right. Also can you use Virtuldub with Dazzle DVC? or is there a better capture software package than Moviestar that is compatible with Dazzle. My goal is to convert my kids VHS (mostly cartoons) collection to VCD so that they can watch them on our Mobile DVD system. if i can not accomplish this with Dazzle I will but a ATI all-in-wonder card. Which is the better approach??

Hi
There can be many problems when you don’t stick to the fully compliant VCD specifications. Within TMPGEnc there is a "Load" button, use that to load a VCD template, PAL or NTSC depending on your country. Once you have done that, the program is ready to make the mpeg1
That’s your starting point, if your source is a good quality capture then the VCD will be very good.
