need some help

hi,
i'm kinda new to this,and not sure where to post this but here is my question. i have been reading alot and following all you guides, just have one question. i watch at ot of indian movies , instead of copy the whole dvd is there any way you can just copy a chapter and a copule od minutes of a movie. for example a lot of indian movies have songs in them. i would just like to make a dvd with just songs from all different movie like a song collecton on dvd insted of a cd. can you refer me to a guide can give me step by step advice. thanks

Rather than ripping down the vob's for the movie, select to rip tracks and manually select the vob files of all / your desired chapters if you know them.

THen use DVD2AVI like normal to save a project file from your desired area, use the SOURCE RANGE setting to encode in TMPG of what you want.

i kinda understand what you saying. i'm using smart ripper , and choosen the chapter that i want to copy as soon as it get done i'll post back what i got so far.

now my question is where the hell ( lol) are chapters 13,15,18,29. i do use ifodit how would i get these chapter out of that, or a another prgram that you might recemond, with some step by step help ...
