Apex 1200 Firmware Upgrade!

This is from the DVD player list/review section about Apex-1200

all media i tried (many brands of cdr and cdrw, as well as mini-cdr, sorry, dont have a dvd burner) worked equally, all discs ive made played perfectly (x/xs/s vcd, mp3, mpeg files through browsing need to be in proper resolution though) worked great...also, the firmware can be flash upgraded (to remove region lock and macro) and you can change the background image VERY EASILY...

Is this true? Is there really a way to flash upgrade the Apex 1200? If yes, can some one give me a link?

I've seen firmware flashes for Apex players but not the 1200.

maybe that guy knows something we dont, i have a 1200 and i havent heard of ANY firmware upgrades for it.

for the latest on this, go to (and check back often) www.nerd-out.com and search for you apex 1200.

I have the 1100w(1mb) and just recently did the macro and region free "hack" and love it. Didn't know if you knew of this site or not.

i've been following that site for about a month now and theres no upgrades for the 1200 yet.
