    How would you convert video you have in a Windows Media Video format to an MPEG format. I have the Roxio 5 platinum edition CD burning software so i can make VCD DVD's but it requires the video to be in an MPEG format? Is there a free program out there that will allow me to do this? Any and all help will be greatly appriciated.

    Use tmpgenc to encode it to vcd, it is freeware.
