  1. Hi all,

    I recently downloaded an avi thats compressed with low motion divx4.

    The problem is that its at 19.98 framerate (in tmpgenc it says the 19.98 is 59.94 / 3 = 19.98 and the compatable ntsc framerate is 59.94 / 2 = 29.97...)

    Is there any way i can convert this to mpeg1/VCD so i can watch it on my TV with it still in sync with the audio..

    any help and suggestions greatly appreciated... or if im wasting my time trying then also please let me know...

  2. I had the same problem. Here's what I did:

    Load TMPGEnc and go to:
    Options-->Environmental Settings-->VFAPI plug-in.
    Make sure that your Directshow Multimedia File Reader has the highest priority. If you don't have this, get it at the TMPGEnc website under "Downloads." I then just convert it as NTSC film and it shows up how it did originally. I got this to work with framerates as low as 12.5 FPS. Hope this helps.
