Ulead DVD Pic Show features

I have downloaded the free trial version of the Ulead DVD Picture Show software from their website and successfully (and very easily) created a VCD using this, and played it in my DVD player. The pictures looked excellent on my TV. However, there are two problems that I had. First of all, I could not pause the VCD while it was playing on my DVD player; once it started playing, I could only stop and go back to the beginning. I would like to have the capability to pause while playing. Second, I would also like to have the capability to add text or captions to my pictures, which this software did not provide. If I were to purchase the full version, would it have these capabilities?

Well - I don't know about the pausing bit, that seems a bit strange.
but as for text or captions
why not download one of the free thumbnail creating software or mass image resizers - you can find these on almost any of the shareware websites

this will do two things for you.
1 allows you to add captions, date-time , words basiclly anything you want
2 full control over your picture resizing - some even offer special effects such as bevelled edges , monochrome, sepia tint etc,etc

This way you could feed this modified pics into Pictureshow and not worry about anything.
