  1. I have premiere 6.0 but it is a lot of firepower for simple DVD editing and burning.

Given your choice, would you use a combination like Ulead Video Studio and DVD Workshop for simple edits and dvd burning,

    OR

Would you use Premiere plus the plugin for converting to TMPGenc, and then use a program like Nero to burn the disc?

  2. You have what is widely considered the best program for video production in Premiere. While an inferior program may be easier to use, you will eventually want the power of premiere. Why not spend the extra time to learn it up front, instead of going through 2 or 3 others first?

    Just my opinion.

  3. I already know how to use premiere for video editing, I've just never gone through those other programs to burn DVD's. Premiere is excellent however doing anything in Premiere is a major project and all I'm doing is putting existing videos on DVD-R and adding a little menu pretty much.
