  1. Having some probs with DVD2AVI and TMPGENC?
First I ripped with smartripper then followed the guide to use DVD2AVI and then TMPGENC. I try to open dv2 that was made by DVD2AVI and TMPGENC has un error say "cannot open file or unsupported" .
Can anyone explain what I'am doing wrong. I have all the plugins for all the programs mention.

    xeryus37,

Have you got TMPGenc, DVD2AVI and the .VFP files in the same directory ?

You have probably not installed the VFAPI plug-in correctly.

Download from http://www.tmpgenc.net and follow the instructions contained within.

  4. You may just need to play around with the priorities of the plug ins in the VFAPI area under Environmental Settings . These seem to have to be in certain orders depending on what you are asking TMPGEnc to do ( eg DVD2SVCD, or frameserving an AVI or pseudo avi esp with various compression codecs.

  5. Yes I have .vfp files in the same directory as TMPGenc and checked with the priorites in enviromental settings. Just curious would my card cause a problem? It is as Asus 7700 pure 32 meg.

    Thanks

  7. Put the priority of the dvd2avi plugin to 2 and it should load the d2v file .but if it doesnt then it probably means that you have mooved or renamed or deleted some files in the past between your vob files and tmpgenc....
