Please can someone advise me about Adobe Premiere?
I have an Mpeg2 file which I'd like to convert from 30fps to 25fps. I've tried this conversion using the TMPGEnc encoder, but the results are not very good, the video playback is a bit jumpy.
I've heard that Premiere is good at frame rate conversion because it can interpolate existing frames to make new ones where required (rather than just chopping out existing frames) - can anyone confirm this for me?
Alternatively can you recommend any other software that can make a good job of a 30 to 25fps conversion?
Thanks

Well I'm glad you've had good luck cause I've always found Premiere to be lousy at handling mpeg files. Do you have some plugins other than the standard "Cleaner"?
If I were converting, I would give Video Studio 6 a try. Don't get me wrong, I love Premiere, I just don't think the standard product is well suited for mpeg.
