Ok, Im still new to this so i originally posted in newbie forum. no one answered in there, so im trying my luck here. I know my standalone plays Svcds, but recently it has started freezing during playback about every 5 minutes. Its at the same spot everytime. - Lotr - I can get past the frame it froze at by skipping back then skipping forward. But alas it keeps on freezing.
This is the info of the file im trying to play -
ntsc svcd (480x480, 29.97fps)
video: 2211kbit 4-Pass VBR
audio: 224kbits 44.1khz
This info is the specs of my standalone from the compatibility list. -

The thing is that it plays fine on my cpu using winDVD. I thought maybe i had a bad burn so i tried again, burning as svcd in nero. It did the same thing.
If you go under my profile it has all my equipment, minus a new Plexwriter 1210-A which I also tested and it still froze at the same spot.

The specs for my player should be more than effecient to play this disk right?
