    I am trying to get the software to see my writer. I have added the ASPI drivers it suggested but it still will not work.

    Do I have to create a image and then use NERO to burn the CD.

    try using xduplicator instead of vcdeasy to burn the image files. sometimes that works for me. but sometimes you have to force a different driver like generic-mmc...
