Bulkpaq are no good for movies, causing scenes to skip frequently.
    I've tried this through experience.

Seem to be OK for data and probably PS2 backups (not tried PS2s).

Some ppl say they play OK on their standalone but then others say they won't. If you want to be sure of universal playback, get a different disc.

I now use Datasafe Gen 3 (£1.50) and no skipping.
Got some White Label as well (£1.20) but not tried these yet.

    Got mine from www.wcwmedia.com.

  4. Well I received them on Tuesday. They were ordered on Thursday evening and arrived Tuesday afternoon (and I'm in Holland), so whatever else I can vouch for Lynx's service. I shall definitely use them again.

And now the ......good news! I burned an hour and a half of video and it worked perfectly, no skipping etc. So taking into account cinephile's comments above, I can say if you have a Samsung 709 (with firmware 3.29), and a Samsung DVD-R/RAM burner, you're in luck!

  5. Original Bulkpaq discs had some compatibility prodlems but their generation 2 discs seem to be much better.

www.svpcommunications.com also have a good range of cheap discs. They also have some new generation 3 DVD-R media that work perfectly on all players I have tried so far.
