    hi all ,

    since fewdays i am getting this error "POWER CLAIBRATION ERROR" only when i try to burn or erase CD-RW (4X) - no problem in CD-RW 10X !!

    i own Nero 5.5.8 and CD-writer is Yamaha 2200EZ

    thanx in advance for helping to ruin out of this error !

    The cd demystified site recommends trying slower record speeds to get around the error. It also mentions that warming up the disc can help in some cases. I was getting power cal error in Nero for some memorex 1x dvds, I warmed them up in the sun for 10 minutes and the error was gone, discs burned and played with no issues.
