I want to purchase a copy of the Blue Man Group's songs and they have it out in two different version. A regular CD version and a DVD-Audio version. I have the Sony DVP-S360 DVD player. Will it play the DVD-Audio disc if i purchase it? It's not a SACD or anything, just a DVD-Audio disc. I'm assuming it will but i want to make sure.

No it won't play it, your dvd must support DVD-Audio or called DVD-A and the Sony 360 does not support it.

So the music that plays during movies like Gladiator isn't considered DVD-Audio? Are you positive my dvd player can't play it? That link you mentioned only shows a handful of players that will play dvd-audio discs.
