  1. I was just wondering if anyone can help me tell the difference of video files. When downloading, usually there are brackets with some sort of abbreviation. Anyone knows what these are? I know tmd is the movie depot and is crappy, what's smr, kmd, ftf, and all the others? Thanks in advance.

I cant tell ya what they all are, but since anyone can name anything whatever they want.....Its hard to find good consistant stuff. Now I have had more luck noting the user name or artist and if its a descent file I look for other stuff by them. Last couple smr things I have seen were mislabeled or poor quality.
    Look for stuff by BertNErnie

  3. So do you know what km is? And what about the bitrate and resolution. What should I look for?

What I do, since for some reason, I can't view the file till it is completely downloaded....is copy the dat file, after I get about 5 mb, to another folder...and then load that into TMPG as vid source...then click on preview...
That way I see what it is and what it looks like...plus TMPG puts some info at top of preview window, like frame size, and fps.
If it crapy I just cancel the download.
