  1. can someone tell me what the best color settings to use for capture??? The defaul settings for colors are at 5000. thanks a lot and i use IUVCR to capture

    If you mean colour (I live in australia )settings such as Hue, Saturation, Gamma and Brightness and Contrast - then No

    Capture - Convert and Play on your favorite TV and see what looks good
    to your eye.

    Generaly speaking though most people like seeing other people with a nice healthy pink (not to much) colour tone to skin and not to much blue tint to the picture, I have seen a heap of NTSC caps where people have almost yellow skin like they have jaundice or a similar condition, white wallpaper also came out of "pus" coloured very bad! - brightness and contrast should not be adjusted on a computer screen as they generally look duller than on TV, at least they do with the last 5 capture cards I used - I learnt to ignore these settings and they work out OK
