Couldnt decide what topic was right for this so sorry if it is a bit off topic...
When creating a dvd it burns fine. when i put it in my dvd stand alone player i have some problems. this needs a little explanation on the set up first.
dvd player fiber optic ------> home theater amp
dvd player rca coax -------> computer line in on sound card
when i play the DVD i DO NOT get any sound from the home theater speakers but i DO get sound from the computer speakers.
I have a sneaking feeling that it has something to do with the way the sound was encodded....
source file is a .avi with PCM wav audio.
