    can any one tell me if there is a program that will change the format of a cd-rewiter to copy dvds, its just that back in feb there was a program that claims to do this but not able to remember the name of it.....

    Look off to your left at "How To" and "DVD Rip". That shows you the process and the software needed. Try it out then post any questions you have.

    You mean copying to a DVD-R with the CD-RW?
    No can do.
    first off you need a DVD-Rom to rip the DVD and then some hours coding to mpeg1 or 2 and then burn to one or a few discs.
