Just checked the spec for a Apex Digital AD-2500 (http://www.apexdigitalinc.com/html/AD-2500.html)
and it seems to have an incredible amount of features. Like Plays DVD-SVCD-CD-CD/R-CD/RW-HDCD MP3 and Microsoft Windows Media Player.

Now when it says that it plays Microsoft Media Player, does that mean that it will play anything that MMP will play? Like videos of Divx, etc ?

Would really like your thoughts on the Microsoft Windows Media Player and what that means ?

    Thanks,

    Jolo (Jon)

Thanks so much for your reply !!

    It was wishful thinking.

But the unit is still a heck of a deal for about $130. But my next stand alone DVD will be one with ability to play CD based videos without all of the conversion stuff.

    Thanks for the info.
