Hi!
When I play SVCD on my Pioneer, I notice little flickering in the picture. How can I solve this because it is bad for eyes. I play SVCD captured from VHS.
Thanks...

Use IVTC 24 fps Flicker Prioritized, Double Field Adaptation, Threshold 1.
Encode with 3:2 pulldown and make sure encoding frame rate is 23.97 (internally 29.97).
This is assuming that you are in NTSC territory. -
.. and yay, Im trying for PAL. I've encoded a svcd at 23.96 FPS and it was stuttery at about 1-second intervals so I would imagine that that's the reason.
is the only way to fix this stuttering to artificially raise the playback speed to 25 fps? (thus making everyone run a little faster, talk a little antsier?, and higher (unless you have a cool sound stretching system?))
