    Can anyone help me here.I have a couple of avis.which i want to convert to vcd .When i try and convert it using tmpgenc. it freezes before completion.sometimes getting as far as 98%. i have all the latest codecs installed divx mpeg4 etc.Ive tried using other converters, xing mpeg,lsx etc, but the results the same.Does anyone know what it may be?

    Did you try extracting the audio as a WAV and using that for your audio source in TMPGE?
    Could be bad frame.Get special Virtualdub from Digital Digest site (scroll down to the Mp3 Freeze version)then remove bad frames if found.
