    More help please
I have a mpeg that I have been playing with quite a bit (newbie) I have it now where it plays great on my computer, what is the next step to burn it to a cd and play it on my DVD player? and is there any way to tell if it is a true mpeg? thanks

  2. Use TMpgenc to make it a valid mpg1 for VCD or mpg2 for DVD/SVCD (you'll have to find the DVD templates however)

Open up your CD burning program (IE NERO) and use the wizard for SVCD or VCD . You need the newest version of NERO for DVD.

Load the mpeg into Nero, or Easy CD Creator, If there is anything wrong with the settings you will be told that its non compliant and will need to re-encode. You can also load into Vdub, and select File > Properties to show the spec.
