    Does wanyone know where I can find a driver, or how I can fix my CD burner problem.

    I have just installed XP on my machine - it picks up my CD-R Burner ( an old one but still fine Mitsumi 4801TE - worked fine with ME), but it only appears to work as a CD-ROM. In the device manager list it is under the catogary - DVD/ CD-ROM drives, I can't find a driver anywhere!!!

    Any sugestions - please!

    Have you Installed any burning software yet? My plextor is listed under same catagory. go to my computer and right clikck on drive, should see tab for recording.

    Reinstall the device (delete it in device manager then find new hardware)
    or
    Get a new driver from the manufacturer's web site
    Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'
