Avisynth Problems

I am un able to get this thing to work. I installed every thing and the program doesn't work. For example I make an .avs script as follows:

LoadPlugin("C:\mpeg2dec\MPEG2DEC.DLL")
mpeg2source("C:\CheechAndChong\New\NiceDreams.d2v" )
BicubicResize(480,480)

And I save the file as Server.avs.
And I try to play it in WMP and I get the a message As follows:

Unrecognized exception!
(C:\SERVER.AVS, line 2)

Am I doing some thing wrong because none of the test files work also.
Can some one please help me because I would like to speed up my encoding in CCE.

Check the pathes to the .dll and .d2v.
Check wether Avisynth is installed properly with the Version command.
Make sure dvd2avi.vfp is registered to VFAPI.
Open the d2v with notepad and check the path to the MPEG-2 file.

All of those things are fine. I have been messing around with this thing for a few days and nothing seems to work. I always get the red error screen that runs for about 10 sec. when checking if it works.
