  1. Why am I getting jaggie lines when I rip R1 DVDs to VCD. I use smartripper, DVD2avi and TMPGEnc.

    I use the same setup with excellent results...but, we need a little bit more to go on

    - setting used in your programs
    - sample of 'jaggie' lines
    - going (x)VCD or (x)SVCD
    - see these on computer? standalone?

  3. well...standard VCD 2.0's low bitrate may result in jagged edges

    also, did you use any filters when encoding?
