I'm trying to convert my divx to SVCD with TMPGEnc 2.54 but the programme doesn't see the right movielenght.

It shows a much longer movie, then it actually is. So now i get like 500% from a 80minute cd for a 1,5hour movie. that's not normal.

Can anyone please explain this and tell me how i can fix this?

    thx, grtx

  2. Use virtualdub to seperate the audio into a wav file. (Look in the guides if you dont know how to do this). Use this as the audio input to TmpGenc and hopefully this will solve your problem

I've done that, but TMPGEnc still sees a longer movie then normal. where the movie is 90minutes, it's sees like 200+minutes.. really strange.

  4. A couple of things you could try. 1st, run the divx file through virtualdub to check for bad frames. You need V1.10 or above for this.

2nd, another thread that suggested this for a similiar problem - Use TmpGenc source range feature to encode from frame 0 (start) to frame end-1 (or 2) to see if this fixes the problem

Let me know how you get on.
