I know that some people have been asking this question, I have read all the posts ( 3 hours later ) I am now wondering if someone can shine some light for me on this question.
I have tried burning VCDs with several CDRWs with no luck ( I have tried about 5 different name brands ) I have tried several different CDRs ( several different name brands ) none of them worked. Now, my friend has a DVP-S530D & he has recorded several VCDs that worked no problem on his DVD Player, now another friend has a 360 model & his stuff worked too. I have finally tried the CDRs that every posted that they worked, STI, & they did not worked on my player. I gave couple of them to my friend & they worked on his ( he recorded his own VCDs on those two CDRs ), he even gave me one of those recorded once, that way I could test if maybe my CDRW drive was too old ( I have a Phillips 400Series ) but that did not work either.
So here is my question, could it be that maybe my DVD Player is too old or something? I purchased it when it was about $450 which was about 4 years ago, it does state on it that it playes VideoCDs but I am lost, can not get it to work.
Thanx
