    i am looking for a Xing encorder although can't find it does anyone know a similar thing which i can use. also what software do u guys use to download dvd's or other things. i got this little quide oof how to do it. it said i need a dvd to mpeg squeezer, panasonic plugins and Xing encorder. does anyone know some other stuff i could use as a alternative any help is greatly appreciated thank u

    All you need is VirtualDub, DVD2AVI, and TMPGEnc. Try the newsgroups or Kazaa or Edonkey for movies, but if you only have dialup, you're going to be d/ling for a verrrrry long time. 2-3 days at least.

    i have a proplem when downloading virtuedub (however you spell it) it says do u want this to go to notepad or wordpad i don't think it should be doing this how exactly do i download it??
