I am new to the forum but have been involved in Video in various forms over the decades.
I am currently modding a Dell Desktop into a quasi WiFi server for storage of video files and also for video processing using Adobe Premiere Pro, and also use a Mac Pro Desktop with Final Cut Pro.
While stripping some older obsolete Dell PCs I remembered one had an older DVD drive made by HL Data, a model GGC-H20N. It was a great drive which would handle SD, BD and HD-DVD formats. It would play any disk from anywhere in the world with SlySoft software installed.
I have it installed in a Dell 3620 PC with SlySoft software. However it came with a disk allowing the installation of software to play BD and HD-DVD formats. However the disk is hiding on me so I am limited to SD DVDs only, at least it will handle any SD region.
Amongst my collection of stuff, I have 5 or 6 AGW1s with 2 in working order, plus several DVD Players for TV use from various regions including multi region SD/BD players and HD-DVD players too.
What is the chance of one of our members having a copy of the missing install disc they are willing part with or a copy, for a price naturally?
