TmpgencPlus SVCD problem

have been using TMPGencPlus for several weeks doing SVCD's ok. Now it will not let me do any. Any help? I know there are a bunch of smart guys out there, So be nice

for example : what exactly does TMPGenc report?
Does it by any chance mention a 'trial period'??!!!??
At what stage of the encoding process does it stop working?

....... and other such 'greatest hits' of questions.
