  1. Hello,

    I'm French.
Here DVD-R are expensives : 10$ to 15$ for low quality media.
Double sided DVD-R are not imported !!!

    I went to
    http://store.yahoo.com/cd-recordable-dot-com/94240mindoub.html

where i found very interesting prices.
But this site doesn't allow delivery outside US.

If you are US citizen, please contact me at tmourer@free.fr
I will send you money to buy DVD-R and pay airplane transport to France.

    Thank you.

I think he's talking about transport of the discs, not the person who bought it. Somehow I don't think he's willing to pay for the flight to France and back for some guy on this forum!

  7. i'll tell u how it went with meritline.com :

    I ordered twice this : http://www.meritline.com/25pac47dvbla.html

    I received twice this : http://www.meritline.com/25pac47bulun.html

even the invoice was valid, just the blanks weren't

These blanks I received are eventually of much lower quality and cost $1.60 on some other sites

And of course they **** up in my Panasonic LF-D310 burner

I sent emails to complain, meritline gave me bullshit like "oh they are the same, stupid!" then never replied anymore

so **** meritline and **** Princo, I won't deal with this shit anymore

  8. for R0N|N,

Ok, it will be difficult to buy from US.

Can you give me the URL of an english WEB site where i can find low price media.

Personnaly, i use pioneer A03 burner and standalone Pioneer DV444 player.
All the low prices media i tryed are compatible with these hardware.
Even OPTODISK (2$ on meritline website) works fine.

    Thank you

I've ordered from both of these sites, delivery is fast and bulk blanks have so far worked fine.

Er... Apple (Pioneer) 2X DVD-R media is only 5.80 Euros (US$5.30) in France. See here.

I think you're just looking in the wrong places. (Now cheap media is a different story however.)

OK. Then just go to www.apple.fr website and look in their store's Stockage & disques section. It seems the price has gone up 5 Euros since yesterday though.

Yes, they are singleesided, but usually 2 single-sided discs are cheaper than 1 double-sided disc, even in the US.

  13. Yes Eug, 2 single sided are cheaper but one double sided is so much easy to use when you have a 3 hours movie to watch...

If you find double sided in France please tell me where.
If I find some in England, I'll tell you where.

    Thanks.

Thanks, but I live in Canada. Anyways, if you have double DVD cases, two single discs is not so bad. Less potential for fingerprints anyway. But whatever you prefer...
