i am kinda restarting a thread because its getting full.... but this is my problem...... ok... i burnt a cvd at both 352x480 and 352x576 and i still am having some problems..... i have the new bose 3.2.1 system.... it plays cd-r/rw just find....... when i put it in it comes up and says loading on my bose system but the sounds comes right up and plays with no picture........ but here is the strange part...... when i hit menu to look at the settings on the 3.2.1 surround system , what comes up behind the menu but the cvd picture....... and thats at both resoultions...... so basically i have to sit there with half the menu blocking the movie just to see it........... can anyone help with that????!?!?!?!?!?!? also is there a offical cvd template for tmpgenc ?????????...... my thing is that what can i change for it to see it almost as a dvd???? it has to be something small that i can change for it to come up cause my dvds comes up just fine......

Don't know much about the BOSE system (although as its made in Ireland it might be a bit odd!) but my standard CVD template is 352 x 576 MPEG2 CBR @ 2496kbps, audio at 48kHz sampling rate. This gives great results, gives 40 minutes per disc and encodes in 1'20" with my 1600XP processor.

THANKS..... but i need to know y my dvd wont read it.????? and y it only does it when the menu is up?!?!? what can i chge about the cvd tht makes it enough dvd compatible that the system wll read it....????what does the dvd looks for to play the disk????? my thing is it would look for the sound and if its mpeg 2 (i guess)........ also who is the person that does hacks for dvd players??? because this one should be easy to do......

no.... i mean i cant see the cvd unless i hit the menu button on my bose dvd system......... but when i cut the menu off on the system it goes back to a blank screen..... but when i put in a dvd it comes up and play..... someone says that the cvd suppose to be dvd compatible
