Working principle of AnyStream (question, not answer)

Yes, i read the rules. I'm trying to download Freevee content.

Does anyone know how AnyStream extracts the keys for the content?
I thought they were only obtainable using a Level 1 CDM or does the program utilize any other methods of extracting keys (maybe directly from the browser?)
I noticed that it was only able to download 1080p content, so maybe low quality content is less protected?

They probably use a CDM API of some kind and a database of keys

I agree with @T33V33
Seems like they use Chrome CDM which might get 1080p keys.
I tested with my own Pixel and only got 3 sets of keys (720p).

i find it quite amusing that my anystream license just got revoked for abuse

I heard they use PlayReady L1 CDM API.
Still The Scene groups and some P2P groups are getting 1080p netflix unlike them, but 2160p seems impossible atm? (or very private?). Some kind of new DRM (PR not enough?)
