    need help just bought 104 and cant burn or get any burning software to reconize it

    I have the same problem with my firewire dvr-103 drive. I am trying several different programs then I'm not sure what I'll do!

    I bought dvdr 104 and Nero recognized it...it was listed as one of the supported recorder...so does dvdr 103.

    I also put it into a firewire enclosure and Nero recognized it too. Of course your OS has to have all the firewire drivers installed first.

    I'm using 103 drive, Nero and other softwares recognize the drive only if the DMA is anabled. Without DMA enabled for the drive I couldn't burn anything with it.
