    Hi,

I would like to download Spanish videos from Brightcove with a German caption. If I download them, the subtitle isn't to be seen in the video.

How can I download the video WITH the subtitles/captions?

E.g. it is the following video http://players.brightcove.net/6309832177001/z3D1sBPfWo_default/index.html?videoId=6339712109112 with these captions: Image

I have tested the VideoProc Converter AI and it downloads the captions BUT I have to activate them in the VLC. How can I insert the subtitles in the video?

  3. You mean via "Subtitles -> Subtitles Track"? Or "Subtitles -> Add Subtitle File"?

In both cases in my opinion easiest way to "fix" this is to use mkvtoolnix (the output is a mkv file):
With mkvtoolnix you can select/add/delete the tracks you want, change time delays, change flags for subtitle tracks like "Default track" or "Forced display".

  5. Then it's just not enabled (or marked) as "Default track" - mkvtoolnix can change it. If you are willing to recode the video, you can also use "Handbrake" and enable the subtitle track as standard or burned in.

    Code:
    ffmpeg -i video.mkv -vf subtitles=video.mkv out.mkv
-i your dl video, subtitle in mkv use your video.mkv if srt file use like de.srt, out.mkv -output name

I would like to have a software, then I start it, then I login in the browser and click download with subtitles and that's it... if I have 1000 videos, that would be great to save time.

the videos are on brightcove, in the video there is the information (Video-ID, User and so on). But if I copy the information from every video and create the video link e.g. http://players.brightcove.net/6309832177001/z3D1sBPfWo_default/index.html?videoId=6339712109112 it would take hours and hours...

StreamFab did not work, too. I start the video, then my pc opens 4 windows for download, then I start downloading and the captions are not in the video.
