  1. I got the vtt file from the developer option of the ctv website, but the format of the VTT file is as shown in the figure below,

how to get a timeline and a complete dialogue?Image

Besides manual adjustment, is there any other convenient and labor-saving way?

That is really weird. There is no easy way to do I am afraid.
If the subtitles are really important to you, try creating a subtitles file using Whisper AI. Subtitle Edit has build in Whisper modules under the video menu (Audio to text (Whisper)), but the default module cpp is not that accurate. Try installing other modules. Do you have a GPU and what size?

  3. You could open it in a text editor and delete all rows with column 4 empty.

Upload the audio file from the downloaded video and I will use Whisper AI to create a normal srt file for you.

  5. All I'm seeing is that the first three titles are supposed to scroll on. But that seems to end at 7.74

Does it continue that way through the whole file? Or is there some other issue I'm missing?

There are 27,713 total rows. All titles behave the same as the first few rows.
Best option is to transcribe the audio.

I agree that's probably quickest. Thank you for the clarification.

Here is the srt file created using Whisper AI model medium.en
There is a need for minor editting but looks good.
and here is the download link for the video used for the transcription. It will be deleted within 24 hours.
