Download video from GoPlay (Belgian TV)

Does anyone know how I can download a video from GoPlay (Belgian channel). When I watch via the tab network it looks like the video is cut into very small pieces. This is the link to the video:

for GoPlay downloads (without DRM) it's probably easiest to use GemistDownloader

If they are DRM protected (I don't think so but I'm not sure?) there are other options.

Check GemistDownloader, it should work to download the full episodes

This won't work as your IP is in the MPD URL and it won't work for someone else.
Also, remove the token from the URL in your code, as it has your IP in it. I removed it in the quote

I looked into yt-dlp, but the following command :

I looked into cleaning the mpd to only have the highest quality stream and removed adds, got that part down, but not sure what to do with that file and if that would fix the issue above ?

Don't use yt-dlp. Use N_m3u8DL-RE. yt-dlp doesn't even allow you to use local files (no idea why they didn't implement that yet).

just wanted to let you know I used the tool linked in your sig (using the python variant since the guide was tailored to that option) and I got it to work !
Download succeeded, thank you so much for making this tool.

1 thing i "struggled" with a bit in the guide: the 5 extra tools linked that are needed (ffmpeg and such): maybe clarify you only need those exe's (not the entire suite or zip or whatever) and they need to be in the rootfolder where the widefrog.py script is.
since several downloadlinks are to the generic suites, I had several folders (like MKVToolNix) and such within the rootfolder of the main program, resulting in the widefrog.py execution to throw some errors.
Granted, those errors were clear enough that I could easily fix them, so that certainly is a plus, but still

I've done some work into this and i think i have done all steps successfully. I can download videos from goplay using yt-dlp, including the ones from "De Mol" which are DRM protected using the --allow-u mentioned in the link you provided, but i need a key to decrypt and i cannot seem to find how to get this key (or how to use it to decrypt the file). Do you have a link for how to work that problem? Thanks again in advance!

check his signature for widefrog, I set that up using the python variant and it downloads and decrypts de mol perfectly.

I can't seem to get it working, though not too surprising as i unfortunately don't meet any of the requirements needed written in the signature. I think i have all installed correctly (see attachment), and i've added the folder to the system environment variables (and named the variable "widefrog")

If i understand correctly the next step is to run it for the first time. Doing this by opening powershell from the folder and typing "python widefrog.py" returns "Python was not found; ..."

Double clicking widefrog.py just opens and closes a window

Any tips?
