    Newbie here. I have several old Digital 8 tapes from a Sony DCR-TRV120 that no longer works. Will a DCR-TRV280 play the tapes from my DCR-TRV120? Thanks!

    the 280 is a d8 cam so it should. but, it depends on the condition of the one you get, not all old cams are in good shape.
