Hi to all, I bought this program for $50 about ten yrs ago. I use it often to remove commercials from cable TV recorded shows mostly concerts.
Work no problem until last week right after Christmas.
I went to open the program & I get a thank you for the purchase window saying it can't open do to a invalid license dat file.
I didn't install any new program or do a windows update.
This software was never timed license or yearly stupid ass subscription.
I tried uninstalling & reinstall with the license date file I have from my original purchase but still same window pops up & program won't load.
I sent 2 emails to Bitstream Tools on Thursday Jan 2nd but still have not heard back from anyone
Has anybody else who uses this pr have any ideas ?
I also installed this on my laptop to see what happens and same result.
I have tried to use VIDEOREDO it works but much more involved & time consuming
I wish I new what country they are in.
The License Dat file is loaded with Asian characters I tried translating that is just random words.
I'm at a loss actually this pisses me off
Thx for any information you can provide
Jimmy

Try to find an old version and do a clean install with your license.

Disconnect internet and set back date with a clean install?
Be careful, changing date back can mess up other programs functionality so do it on test system.
