  1. Maybe an easy answer for this, I hope so...

I use Tmpge to cut the vids in half to make a cd1 and a cd2. Cd1 usually has no problems, when the project is finished, it usually always plays in my standalone. But on Cd2, I have all kinds of problems. Here's what happens:

I load the movie again to cut the 1st part out so I just have part 2 left. First I set the point at the beginning, then the middle, and tell it to cut the selected area. Now I am only left with the part I need for Cd2. I finish up Cd2 and load it into VcdEasy to scan the mpeg file for errors. Everytime I do this, I get at least 3 error on the "nts' sync ". Its says it doesn't match the target, something like that.

So, why does this only happen on the Cd2 cut and not Cd1?

Thanks in advance for any and all help!!!!

  2. Hi Rattle2k:

These are known issues in TMPEG 2.5x.

The old versions 12x did cut and merge your mpeg files correctly.

I haven't tried the 2.54 yet. So I can't tell you if they fixed the problem.

Try to find the version 12b somewhere in the net.

  3. Well, you dont have to even try 2.54, because thats what I've been using. Obviously this problem continues. Thanks for the tip, gonna go hunting for that 12b now.
