  1. does anyone know about virtualdubs automatic conversion features?

i have about 50 short (5-10secs) videos in mpeg 4 at 320x240 and i want them all converted to 160x120 with a filename like:

    originalname_160.avi

    is that possible in virtualdub?
    if so, how?

    thanks.

I missunderstood that. So you want create a batch encode list? In VirtualDub this is the job control.
Open the 1st file, configure, select file > save avi and check "add operation to job list". Repeat this procedure with all files. After that select file > job control and start conversion.
This isn't automatic? Well, you can write the job script with notepad.
    http://www.virtualdub.org/docs/vdscript.txt
This still isn't automatic? Then select file > options > Read author's mind.
