  1. Pleeeeeeeeeze somebody help me.
I've downloaded a DivX of Lord of the Rings. I've followed every god damn guide in this site to convert it to svcd. I've wasted about 25 cd's trying to get it to work and needless to say it won't.
I've converted it with the guides and burnt it with the guides.
The only thing that happens when I try and play it in my standalone player is that the display comes up with VCD (which is normal for mine) but doesn't play automatically like normal and it doesn't say PBC ( which all my other rips do.
    I'm fucked. Please help.

  3. aight man, lets see if me can help you.

    for dvd-avis-

encode fps of 23.976 and MAKE SURE mate that you have 3:2 pulldown enabled to in video tab.

    resolution is 480x480.

Also, make sure your dvd player can read svcds.

If you have made svcds before then it may not be playing just because you accidentally made an xsvcd and your dvd player cannot play that.

On the last tab in tmgpenc, make sure the stream type is-
    mpeg-2 supervideocd.

your audio bitrate\video bitrate can be anything(as long as video bitrate does not exceed 2,520.

  4. Thanx man, I've nearly got it sussed out now. I've just tried to use VCDEASY to see if that worked and once it had scanned the Mpeg and converted it to .bin, it worked like a ******* treat apart from the audio is jumping, so I'm gonna look into that now.
Being an ALI G fan myself, I don't suppose you've managed to get hold of the new film have you?
Cheers for all the help me old treacle
    Maybe talk soon yeah!
    Regards.
