Internet Download Manager successfully downloads from 1080p (5.62 GB) down to 360p

I used that in the past, and succesfully, but that now gives the message that i can not use it anymore as i have used it for longer than a month. i uninstalled it last year from my pc, but that did not help either.

I used youtube dl in the past, but now it doesn't work on my pc. i get this black screen, i think that is part of the registry of my pc, and instead of it scrolling and showing action, it stops

IDM is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)
see if u have some folder as IDM
then also on C:\Users\.........\AppData\Roaming\IDM puts your data. delete this folder. maybe your problem is this old folder....
download latest 6.36 b14 version and install it. but this is trial for 14 days....

Thanks for your help, I managed to uninstall or delete it in the Prgoram Files (x86) folder. I think it is not in my C/Users folder. I looked for it, but did not see it.

not possible. IDM work with your setup (and install this program on C:\Program Files (x86) or also work on portable mode, it is possible to move install folder where you want.
but ever IDM put your data on ... AppData\Roaming\IDM
if you don't have this folder you have previously deleted...

Thanks for your quick answer. I guess that must have been done then some time in the past. That it was deleted. I just could not find it. Maybe I looked in the wrong map, but it might as well be it just was no longer there. I know not that much about pcs etc.
