  1. Hi guys! I need some help of course. I am trying to make a backup of The Matrix, and am having some problems converting the AVI and AC3 files to MPEG. The prog. I am using to do the conversion is that TMPGEnc prog. It makes the file, the thing is though is that when I go to watch it, about 1/9th of the way into the movie it will start repeating parts. It won't just stop at one point and repeat into infinity, no, what it will do is repeat a few frames, (along w/ sound) then go on. Repeat a few more, then go on. It will do this through the rest of the movie too. I thought it might have something to do with the birate, so I tried to balance the A and V. This failed however. If anyone could assist me into a possible solution, I would be very thankful.

P.S- Has anyone here had any success in backing up this flick?

What ripper are you using to grab the .vob files from the DVD?

Tha Matrix is multi-angle. So needs a ripper that will compensate for that.

  3. YES! That is it! Man am I happy to find you! It's about time I found someone in this place that actually knows what there talking about! ( Or at least I so far think ) Ok. I'm using some program called " DVDCutter Stream and Mp3CDWAV converter ". I have heard about the multi angle thing, but wasn't sure if that was it. I think your on to something there though. What about the movie Unbreakable? Not only did it repeat itself, but it showed other languages at the subtitle stuff at the beginning of the movie? THANKS ABUNCH FOR THE HELP! Also, please reply!? Thanks
