  1. while capturing with premiere 6 once in a minute or so Iam getting frames with cubes and no voice. It seems to me that something wrong with the settings, any help. thanks in advance

    So I am capturing from digital camcorder and the properties for the avi file are as follows

    This movie appears to have DROPPED FRAMES

    i suppose and i'am quite sure that is not the first time you are capturing on pc your video .
    For this reason i imagine that you have been able in the past and you are using same settings you have already used with success.
    If everything is just equal to what you did before the first think that comes in my mind is to be absolutely sure that the problem is not your camcorder.
    Have you tried to play zones in which you have trouble directly from your camera connected to tv ?
    they are all right even on tv as on camera-lcd?

    i had problem with my camera and she was playing well on lcd , plaiyng well on tv via s-vhs and i got orrible dv-firewire capture : audio fragmented , block, mosaic effects all due to dust inside video head.
    i temporaneily solved capturing via s-vhs and analog audio but then i had to send camera on service to be substitude heads and they have played totally only 30 hours !!

    i don't know if your system can capture via analog ((my RT-2000 can) but if your problem come out to be equal to mine you could almost save your work.
