I was trying to convert a movie called donnie darko. This is an avi so I first loaded it into VirtualDub and right off the bat got vbr audio. Well figured no problem I'll just rip the audio and video seperately. Well started to frameserve from VirtualDub to CCE v2.5 bitrates were average 1246 min 1000 and max at 2000 with no audio from VirtualDub since I was going to deal with that later. Well encoded the Video, then used pulldown since framerate was 23.976. Ok everthing as far as the video went really smoothly. It played in windows and everything looked good. Well decided to work on the audio. Went back to VirtualDub and ripped the audio using full processing no compression. Alright I then ran it through toolame to get a file suitable to use in bbmpeg so that I could multiplex the files. Alright I have the video part loaded and the audio now. start the process of multiplexing and of course had errors due to audio I assume. Figure I would let it continue to see how much it was off sync. Started the file in media player and it played fine.. ok so here is the weird burnt the two files to cd's using nero. put them in the dvd player and started the second half up.. to see if it was out of sync. instead of being out of sync. The video was how should I explain this.. It looked like you were tripping.. colors were all over the place. You could see the movie fine.. Just that the colors were blended..
