  1. i got myself two 16packs of 16x 99minute compusa cd-r's in zee mail today.. i'm using the hewlett-packard 9500b 12x8x32 cd-rw drive... to my shagrin, it burned the first disc like a champ. i was able to burn
    97:24.09 / 856mb with no problems whatsoever.. and at full 12x speed!

    i'm gonna do further testing, but this seems pretty promising as of right now.. the only thing i dont get though is that the box says 99minute/850mb.. but the file i burned was 856mb, and the time was 97:24... hopefully i'll be able to get 2:35minutes more data on these puppies with my burner..

    this drive (at the time i procured/stole it) retails for $99.

  2. I Hope you didn't buy it recently, prices damn dropped so low for the high speed CDRW's it's unbelievable
