I was wondering what everyone else is doing to remove HISS or other things from the audio track of mpgs. I seem to be taking the long rute.. i de-mux using tmpg then convert the resulting mp2 file into wav format then pull into cool edit and remove hiss and other things then mux it back together. are there other programs out there that are better that will do mp2 files for example possible free or share ware. better yet would be one that would remove pops and hiss while muxed, that dont seem likely though considering the limitations.
