  1. I was wondering if anyone has successfully burned MP3's onto a DVD-R(W) and got it to work on a standalone dvd player, such as an Apex. I tried burning MP3's onto a DVD-RW and when I put it into my Apex 5131, it gave me a Disc Error message. I tried putting the files in the root dir, and also tried putting them into an AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folder to see if it would work, but still it gave a Disc Error. Does anyone know of a way to get the player to recognize that MP3's are burned on the DVD-R(W) by maybe adding or creating some sort of IFO file? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks, Ray.

I don't think that you are getting the picture. You don't need any special folders on a MP3 CD, you just need to burn the files to a CD as CD-ROM format, as you would do if you were just backing up files.

  3. I dont think I understand what you're trying to say. What do you mean by "burn the files to a CD as CD-ROM format" ? What I'm trying to do is burn the MP3 files to a DVD, not a CD, and you can't just go into Nero (or some other burning program), make a CD compliation, stick a DVD-R(W) into the drive and expect it to burn. It'll just spit the disc out and want you to put a CD-R in, not a DVD-R.
