I want to make some voice recording and upload to youtube but I don't want to get recognized by people who know me, how can I alter the voice, while unlikely to reverse or back engineering to get back my original voice? (Yes I know I am nobody but I just want to eliminate the probaility) Thanks

The only absolutely secure way is to actually re-voice with someone else. Maybe a friend with a similar voice range to yours could be used? This technique is being used increasingly for documentaries that have a "whistle blower" segment, where absolute security is critical.

The easiest way is to have a computer voice synthesizer speak your script. Or you can obtain voice changer software, such as MorphVOX.
